How to delete your account

You can delete your Drink$ account and its data in any of these ways:

1. In the app: open the menu, tap Settings, then Delete Account, and confirm.
2. On the web: sign in at drinksnearme.app/account-delete and tap Delete Account. You don't need the app installed.
3. By email: if you can't sign in, email support@drinksnearme.app from the address on your account and ask us to delete it.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

• Your profile — name, email address, date of birth, password and profile photo
• Your check-ins, photos, comments and cheers
• Your friends, friend requests and outings
• Your favorite venues, badges, points and streaks
• Your location data and location-sharing settings
• Your push notification tokens and notification history
• Your venue claims and any venue account access

What we keep, and for how long

• Your personal information is deleted or anonymized within 30 days of your request.
• Check-ins, comments and other content may be kept in anonymized form for analytics. Anonymized content is no longer linked to you.
• Aggregate, de-identified usage analytics are kept — this data does not identify you.
• Records we're required to retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention or regulatory reasons are kept for as long as the law requires, then deleted.

Deleting vs. deactivating

Deactivating temporarily disables your account and keeps your data — logging back in reactivates it. Deleting is permanent and cannot be undone.

For more detail on what we collect and how long we keep it, see our Privacy Policy. Questions about a deletion request go to support@drinksnearme.app.
