Try Settings → Clear Cache (in the Danger Zone at the bottom). It clears cached data and your saved preferences on this device and signs you out, so you'll log back in afterward. If it's still slow, check your connection, or try reinstalling the app.

Make sure notifications are allowed for Drink$ in your device settings, then check Settings → Notification Preferences — the Push Notifications switch at the top needs to be on, along with the kinds you want. If you recently reinstalled or switched devices, open the app once while online so it can re-register for push.

The iPhone and Android apps can alert you when you're near a venue with a deal (Nearby Deal Alerts), tell you about a special running nearby (Nearby Specials, when you're signed in), or ask if you want to check in, or can confirm a special, when you're at a venue (Venue Visit Suggestions).

To turn any of them off, go to Settings → Notification Preferences → Location-based. A visit suggestion also has a Turn off button, and Didn't go here stops it asking about that place for 30 days.

Make sure location permission is enabled for Drink$ in your device settings and that location services are on. You can also tap the location chip at the top of the Map to pick a city manually.
